Really nice color and fabric but it was huge. I ordered a large and am normally a L/XL Tall. I was sad but I had to return it and they are out of the smaller sizes.

First off, thank you everyone for your reviews. I sized down 2 sizes and it fits like a charm. Lovely and warm, looking forward to wearing it to Scotland next month to do some sleuthing. I would normally wear an XXL, hello hips! The large buttoned up no problem.

Just love the style and the fit of this coat but as others have said, go down at least 2 sizes. Great purchase and it's also suitable for cold temperatures.

Too big

i normally wear an XL in coats so based on reviews on how oversized this was, i bought a large assuming it would give me room to layer. turns out, the large was ENORMOUS. comically huge - fit more like a 3xl or even 4xl. with no mediums available, i took a chance and ordered a small. kind of ridiculous because i don't wear a small in anything at all but not only did the small fit me perfectly, it still looks and feels oversized. i generally like gap clothing but the inconsistencies in sizing is insane and makes me now question whether its worth buying since i end up having to return most of it. i have no idea what happened with this particular coat but mistakes were certainly made because i shouldn't have to order 3 sizes smaller than i normally wear and still end up with a coat that feels too big. if a petite was available, it probably would have fit even better. its a nice coat and worth it on sale, but be very cautious of the size you order.

The quality is this coat is very nice. Quite heavy and nicely lined. That said though, make sure to order down at least one size . I'm typically a med-large and went with a medium and wish that I would have gotten a small (the one time I don't go to the review section before ordering!) I'd return it for the small but they're no longer in stock and am on the fence as to whether or not I should return it.

Warm and comfy! Alittle too oversized...

The jacket is very nice quality however as others have said it's very over sized. I normally wear a L/XL ordered a Small and the fit it great with room to layer if needed. The length is a tad long I am 5'5 always order regular and just not sure about the length I may return only because of that reason.

Lots of compliments! Downsized two sizes and it's still loose enough to layer sweaters under. It is much longer than I expected, I'm 5'7"and M falls below my knees. #sweepstakes
