I know it sounds insane but I normally order an XL in coats, ordered a L after reading reviews, and ended up re-ordering a S to finally get the right fit. The L fit my 5'4", 200lb, pear-shaped body like a kid wearing their dad's coat. It was not a fashionably oversized fit at all and fit me more lik...e 2-3X. I was hesitant on which size to try after seeing the way the L fit but I'm so glad I went with the S because it fits perfectly. Like others have said it's such a lovely coat, but the sizing is absurd!
I have to return this because a small goes below my knees and the sleeves are way too long, going past my knuckles. The size overall is just huge and billowing. I could fit another arm in each sleeve they're so big. I doubt an extra small would have been small enough based on the fit of the small. T...he model in the picture must have it clipped in the back for it to look like that. The width of the jacket with the buttons closed is 25 inches just across the front from the seams on each side. I'm 5'6", 134 pounds, with a thin, athletic build.

Love this coat! The material, texture, style great for this fall season. I'm in a wheelchair so perfect length for me. However it said oversized but actually too big. I were a xl and got purchased a XXL, large arms. I'm trying to exchange for a large instead. I think that would be a better fit. I really love this coat.

I love this coat. It's heavy and stylish. It runs very big. I'm normally a XL but after reading some reviews, I ordered a L, and It is huge on me. I'm returning it for a M. Also, a scarf is needed around the neck because the collar is rough on the neck.

I ordered two different sizes of this coat . The first one was medium and fit very large. For context I am 5'4" and 145 lbs. I then ordered the coat in small, it still was big fitting, bigger than I wanted. However, the jacket is very well made and looks and feels like very high quality. It just didn't suit what I felt comfortable in.
