Like every other comments it's MASSIVE. I'm usually a medium, so I ordered an Xsmall and it was still outrageously big. Didn't even bother exchanging for a smaller size and there is 0 shape to this coat. Straight return I'm 5'8", 150 lbs

Just wow!!! Take one size down and you'll be fine. This coat is so beautiful. It feels like I won the jackpot with the special price and my $ Rewards. I'm 90% of the time a petite small in Gap clothes... So I listen to the reviews and went with a Petite XS and it it perfect. So, yes it is a little big, but not "Huge".... I'm 5 feet and 125-130 ibs.

Beautiful coat but way too big. I typically buy jackets in a size large but sized down to a medium...It was still ridiculously large - felt like a child playing dress up in my mom's closet.

It's a beautiful coat. The sizing is off. I usually wear xl in all gap shirts and dresses. The coats is very oversized. I have to exchange for smaller.

I have to return this because a small goes below my knees and the sleeves are way too long, going past my knuckles. The size overall is just huge and billowing. I could fit another arm in each sleeve they're so big. I doubt an extra small would have been small enough based on the fit of the small. The model in the picture must have it clipped in the back for it to look like that. The width of the jacket with the buttons closed is 25 inches just across the front from the seams on each side. I'm 5'6", 134 pounds, with a thin, athletic build.

I first purchased the XS, the actual measurements of this coat (laid flat) are: Bust 23.5 inches, Hip 23.5 inches, Length 39 inches, sleeve length from base of collar 28.5 inches. This size was too big for me, for reference my measurements are Bust 35 inches, Hip 37 inches. So, I ordered the XXS and for this size the actual measurements of the coat (laid flat) are: Bust 22.5 inches, Hip 22.5 inches, Length 37.75 inches, sleeve length from base of collar 28 inches. I kept the XXS size. Overall, the material is heavier weight, great for fall and the side slits are a good addition for ease of movement and style.

Looks nice/classic online. Though it's a relaxed fit, even in Petite Small it was huge. I liked the style but couldn't wear it as the wool content was very rough/scratchy along the neckline. "#sweepstakes"

This jacket is majorly oversized. I am always a petite large and had to return it for a petite small and it's still big. But I kept this small one as the gap cash was over. The add on at the collar is somewhat awkward and the wool is scratchy at the neck but I loved the colour and the style for use with jeans etc. I'll def need to add a scarf to avoid the scratchy wool. Not sure who approved the sizing but it's definitely off. Could have made 2 coats out of one. Love the curved slit detailing at the sides.
