The pants are very comfortable and seem to wash well so far. I got the 'dark navy blue' and the colour is the exact match to the 'navy blue' waffle PJ cardigan (more of a light heathered navy than a dark solid navy colour as this picture suggests). I am 37 weeks pregnant and ordered a large, I think I could have sized down to a med, they are pretty oversized. I'm typically a med pre-pregnancy. I would recommend them but be aware of the colour difference when ordering the navy.
