I'm 5'9" and 140lbs and bought the 27 regular. Wish they were just 1/2 inch longer. I love the soft cord and it does have a small amount of stretch. The colour is better than I expected, nice grey brown tone, no pink under currents. I have slim legs but do find the thigh to be a tiny bit tight- going to keep them as I expect the thighs will stretch out with wear.

If you're long and lean, these are awesome in Tall sizing. I like that it's a straight leg rather than boot cut. Much more subtle. Very comfortable, just enough stretch, and look great with loafers and a loose sweater. That tidy but not-trying-to-hard preppy 90s look we Gen Xers crave!

Nice cords with some stretch, so easier to be active in. I wish I had have been able to try them in person as I may have purchased a size smaller—I find them a bit too loose in the waist and legs. Grateful Gap does tall sizing.

I bought the Tuscan Red color. I don't think it's too low rise, which I like. I am 5'9" and got the 27L. I also got the matching color knit cotton cardigan sweater, that I use as a shirt with a different crop cami under it. I probably will wear both matching color pieces together this fall as a unicolor outfit. I usually always line dry my clothes to prevent any risk of shrinkage (arms, legs). I haven't washed these yet. But I have other corduroys in past years from the Gap and I really like them. I think I am maxed out. lol
