Why the change? Why Gap why did you change the style of this. I also got the pull over this is the zip. But it has a different vibe vs the extra hoodie that hoodie last year. The last year version had no pill string and it had more of a crop feel. It was vibe hoodie made want wear it everyday. This is good too don't get me wrong but the hoodie that hoodie was way better. The small feels more baggy, and it's not too crop as last year hit it does the job. You see last year there was no "eh". Bring back the hoodie that hoodie comes on !
this is one of the best zip up hoodies i've ever bought The fabric the size everything is great the size i got was a M i'm 6.0 abd 182lb and it fits perfectly
Got an extra small they are over size the burgundy runs a little tight on the wrist more fired black fits the oversized look also the black is two different colors if u wanna purchase the heavy weight sweats extra heavy weight is darker but not really a big difference
Soft and cozy. Zipper has nice glide to it. Purple is deep and rich. One wash and no fading could be discerned.
The fact that this hoodie doesn't have any reviews yet is criminal. I've been in search for some good zip-up hoodies for a couple of years now. Gap's Extra Heavyweight French Terry Hoodie is hands down the absolute best one so far. The material is very, very heavy as the name suggests, even heavier and sturdier feeling than a certain popular reverse-weave hoodie, while being much more premium feeling. The construction of the hoodie gives structure to the silhouette and flows nicely. The terry inner fabric feels tightly woven but soft like an expensive Turkish towel, and the cotton outer layer feels bulletproof. The fit is generous, slightly oversized and cropped giving it a comfy, classic look for my short, stocky build. I got both size medium and large to share with my significant other who is taller and slimmer than I am. If you're on the fence go with your normal size but definitely don't size up. Size large is more laid back looking on me while not being super long, and size medium looks more fitted and cropped. There's probably about 2 inches of back length difference between each sizes. Overall, this is Gap's best hoodie as of yet. Or the best kept secret at Gap. I got these for less than $50 per hoodie on sale, and it's absolutely the best bargain for clothes I had all year. If you want a slightly lighter but heavyweight hoodie for layering, the regular heavyweight hoodies from Gap are also very good although definitely not as substantial like this one.
