Soft comfy light weight merino wool that does not pill or shed. This year I purchased XXL tall to get longer oversized look. The look I got is not long enough or oversized enough so it looks goofy and square. Last year I bought sz L tall which is a closer fitting look. As per care instructions I... carefully washed in machine and let air dry. One of my sweaters did get a hole last year from machine washing so be careful - nothing was in washer other than sweaters so it seems hole popped up on its own. Going to return. For ref I am 5'9". Gave 4 stars as sizing is short (for a tall).
I love the new Tuscan red and rose pewter pink colors this season, and the merino wool seems to me to be the same thickness and quality as the previous few years. My problem with this year's design is the body length. I always buy tall sizes and this sweater was at least two inches too short for me.... I know it's supposed to be 'cropped', but it's also listed as a classic fit. Regular sizing is always 'cropped' for me anyway! Please keep the tall sizes tall.

It's soft, and the fit is nice but it's way too thin. The sweater is see through and so delicate it won't withstand any kind of regular wear. Returning.
