- Models wearing Gap size XL are 5'8"–5'11" (172–180 cm) with 34–36” (86–91 cm) waist & 45–50" (114–127 cm) hips.

These sweater pants are very nice. Much dressier than the typical sweat like sweater pants. But I'm not sure what is going on with the length because the inseam of a Medium Regular length is 35". Even though there is a size guide on the website, there is no inseam listed. I called The Gap and was ...told they are supposed to be 31". I have included a pic of the bottom of the pant underneath the Mid Rise Ultra Soft Baggy Jeans in 28 Regular which has a 30" inseam. The website indicates is pant should have a 31 1/2" inseam. Sadly it isn't uncommon for The Gap to be very inconsistent in their inseams. I was not mistakenly sent the Tall unless the tag is mislabeled. Unfortunately, you cannot hem these since they are a sweater material. Tall girls these are your pants!!
I love these pants - perfect drape, comfortable and colour is amazing. Bought Medium, normal size Medium. The difficulty is that they wear terrible. I bought these and they pilled slightly after first wear - and after 2nd wear the pilling is the worst I've had on any pants. Keep in mind that these... are a very relaxed fit and don't pull anywhere, I can't imagine if these were fitted. Picture after 3 wears (around my house for work from home and one outing for errands), and one wash (cold cycle, hang to dry).

These are very soft trousers that could be dressed up or down, however the sizing is inconsistent. Previous comments have described these trousers as "fits big" and "really long" neither of which I found to be true. Order your normal size as the size down was too small. the regular inseam was about 30 inches. Not sure if the pants were miss-tagged and were actually petit. Unfortunately another example from GAP/Old Navy of inconsistent sizing and lengths.

Very soft and comfy. Im 29" waist, 39" hip, 29" inseam. Purchased the size M. I should have sized down to a Small. Is quite roomy and loose as like light sweater material. Not too warm at all. Versatile, can dress up or wear casual.
