Absolutely love this coat. I ordered it right away even though it's still summer because I thought it may sell out. I am so excited to wear this soon. The coat may be a bit too heavy for the Fall but perfect for the Winter. It does run large, I recommend going down a size if you are planning to... wear sweaters or sweatshirts underneath. If you plan on wearing thinner layers underneath , you may consider going down 2 sizes. I am a size 16/40 DD/ 5'7. The large is perfect and there was still plenty of room.
I read the reviews and did as most suggested and went down a size- big mistake. I usually buy a S but given what everyone said I went for an XS (and in FINAL sale). While the jacket is oversized, it's not so much that it would merit a smaller size. In this case, the arms are comically short compa...red to the body and the proportions feel small- as would be expected in an XS. Conclusion- if you don't want an oversized look, don't buy something that says oversized in the description and/or don't pay attention to reviews who can't differentiate between something that's made to be oversized and something whose sizing is genuinely off. My bad for listening to the reviews. The jacket is well made and is a bit voluminous. While I do like the detail on the sleeves and back, it does contribute to a bulky look some might find to be a bit much (meaning it adds quite a bit of volume) and unflattering.

gapcanada.ca/I loved it in every ad I got, but I was a little hesitant to buy, being very unsure how a women's jacket would fit me (especially in the sleeves), but I'm glad I finally gave in. Because of the reviews saying how very oversized this jacket is, I bought the same size I would have in men's, but went for the tall option, and it fits perfectly. It is very oversized, but it's a great look. I have to make sure the weather is right or I layer to keep the neck area warm, but yeah, I love it.

I wear a large and bought a large. It's oversized and that's the way it was designed! Very fashion forward! I love it!

Very cool coat!! It works for me, I am 5'9" and typically get a size small in all things Gap. Same goes for this coat. I didn't size down because I have long arms, and I also love an oversized fit!

I wanted to love this so much but it just didn't look right on me. The sleeves are very pinch pleated and voluminous. Also, it is a V-neck shape so it doesn't close all the way up. Nice material/fabric though.

I agree with other reviewers -- sizing is WAY OFF. I normally wear M, and ordered S and it fit like L. I could have ordered XXS, but it could be too short on torso. It really look like a police jacket like other reviewer said. If it was a different color, it may have looked different. The pockets are not functional - not deep enough for phone or keys to stay in safely. Otherwise it was well made, material is substantial, and has one-of-a-kind design. I returned it.

I really wanted this jacket to fit. I picked size xxs. It was so large that a person who is normally a large would have fit this jacket and still have room for a thick sweater. With regret, I had to return the jacket.

Great, warm jacket but way oversized but at least 2 sizes. I wear an XL in jackets, a L in clothing. I say the word oversized and decided to stick to an L and just hope my bulkiest sweaters or sweatshirt could still be worn under it. Well I received it today and I could fit another whole body in it. Huge! I am exchanging for a Medium and will continue to go down in size until one fits because I really love the jacket.
