I was hesitant to order this dress because of the mixed reviews. For reference, I'm 5'2" and 175 lbs. I knew I'd need to size up due to the fabric, so I ordered both a Large and an X-Large. The XL ended up fitting best, while the Large felt too snug for my liking. I'm currently in between sizes and, with Gap, I usually wear a Medium or Large/Petite Large. I decided to keep the XL because of the comfortable fit. The regular XL length hits just above my knee, which I like — I'm glad I didn't go with the petite size, as it probably would've been too short. One thing I really appreciate is that the side hems stay in place. I've had similar dresses before where the fabric wouldn't stay put, but this one does. The dress itself is beautiful. I love the feel of the fabric, and the V-neck lace trim is my favorite detail. I was worried that sizing up would make the neckline too low, but it's actually perfect. A must have!

I almost didn't get this dress because of the other review. It's not "for a teenager"The dress is a button up, so you have to undo a few of the top buttons before you put it on. I got an XS in petite , but an xxs would fit too. It looks vintage and very pretty. I recommend for other slim /petite women.

This dress is absolutely stunning! I have trouble finding clothing that fits well because I'm 4'10, with DDs. Dresses with tailored busts almost never have enough room, and sizing up usually makes the rest of the garment look frumpy. Let me tell you that this dress fits like a glove. It looks like it was made specifically for my body. It's actually much nicer than it appears in the photos because the bust is too roomy for the model wearing it. The lace trim is great too, because it adds the perfect amount of modesty, but it's still sexy.

I was so excited for the dress but when I tried it on it barely fit over my ribs. Soo disappointing
