I like them a lot better than I thought I would! They're a good weight. I'm still losing baby weight so I sized up. At 135lbs and 5'4", the size 27 regular length fits great!! I haven't washed them yet, so I'm not sure if they'll shrink at all, but I might need to shorten them maybe a centimeter if ...I want to wear them with flats and not have them touch the ground. The weight is nice. I feel like the modeled picture makes the jeans look like lightweight jeans, but they're definitely not. The side panel widens at the bottom so it makes the jeans look more wide leg than they are. I didn't think I'd like the raw hem, but the undone hem look is pretty cute on these jeans. I got them because they were on sale and I love the high rise stride fit. I really didn't think I'd like them that much, but now I'm wondering if I should get another pair. It makes a simple jean and T-shirt outfit a little more interesting. Definitely recommend!
I bought these in Vintage Tint, and they are so comfortable in my regular size 6. I mean, I could wear them on a long haul flight or bloated day and be perfectly fine. So I ordered them in Beach Pebble, exact same size, and they were skin tight, showing the outline of the front pockets against my hi...ps. They were also shorter. Consistency would be really nice. Another thing about the Vintage Tint pair: the zipper kind of bends outward in one small place. It's not my tummy pushing it either, it's just this little bump. Maybe it's the rise is too high? It's just weird. But anyway, they are insanely comfortable and loose enough to wear tights or fleece-lined leggings under for added warmth in winter.

I am usually a size small to extra small my proportions in my waist run a little smaller than my hips. That is your case to these machines might fit a little weird. Because the jeans have some stretch, I size down and it was fine, but it does compress my booty. My biggest problem though is that I wish the jeans were a little longer. I got the regular and I am just under 54 and could probably only wear these jeans with sandals. With boots or heels or even sneakers they look short.

I'm so frustrated with these jeans. I got the black ones. They fit so well, yet have a terrible formaldehyde smell. I mistakenly thought I'd be able to get the smell out with three laundry cycles using vinegar, and then soaking them overnight in the tub with vinegar, but here we are; after all of that, they still smell. Huge bummer and waste of money.

I have these in blue jeans and washed black, and I find them comfortable, versatile, and stylish! I'm 5'9" with wider hips, so the sizing isn't great, but a belt mostly solves the problem.
