this was so so cute and so so soft but the material clings onto skin and has ZERO stretch. I bought a size bigger for my son and it still was way too tight. my son is a chunky kid either but this just has absolutely no stretch and overall seems like it would be uncomfortable because it can't even be adjusted. I would buy 2 sizes up. while it may be long, at least you'd be able to put your kids arms and legs through and adjust accordingly
