Love the idea of this skirt but it's fuller and heavier than I thought it would be. In hindsight I should have ordered a petite size. The skirt hits at an awkward spot on me and would be difficult to hem since the bottom has a piece sewn on the inside of the hem. This helps keep the bottom from roll...ing but makes it a big challenge to shorten. Maybe once it is boots season the length will work better.
The skirt looks great and is good quality. I am 5'9 and quite long waisted. I needed to purchase 2 sizes larger than my normal size in order for the waist to sit properly

Purchased my usual size and found it runs true to size, nice heavier weight denim and side zipper is a nice heavier weight metal zipper. It is fitted around the stomach and slightly higher waisted but not too high, the flare of the skirt is just right, not too billowy.
