I usually size up in pj pants because I prefer an oversized fit. I don't like tight fitting clothes- or even correctly fitting clothes- when I'm at home. Especially when I'm sleeping. I bought the poplin shorts in the same pattern in size large. They're perfect. I bought the poplin pants in the sa...me size, assuming they would have a similar fit, but as it turns out, they don't. These pants are huge. I like oversized clothing but they even feel too big for me. Also there's no drawstring so there's no way to adjust the fit. I've noticed that the sizing is inconsistent. It's difficult to predict how pj pants will fit unless you try all of them on. Also the gender neutral pj sizing concept needs some tweaking. A regular women's medium is not equal to a men's medium. It corresponds lo more closely to a men's small than to a men's medium. Also bring back the drawstring.
Have been buying cotton poplin pj pants for myself for decades. Two decades buying them for my spouse, and now for my first teenager. LOVE the cotton fabric, pockets, button detail, dark color, and geometric pattern. HATE the elastic waistband on my skin, Bring back the elasticized adjustabl...e drawstring within the poplin waistband.

Nice material. They are much much larger in the waist band than the shorts in the same size. Not sure why. These are falling off me. Washed once hoping they would shrink. So far, they haven't.
