Love the fabric on this jacket... very good quality and slightly padded for warmth. Wish the sleeve openings weren't as wide though. Runs big so got a size down.
I thought this would be a lightweight jacket because the description did not mention a lining. I was pleasantly surprised to find that it has a lightly stuffed and quilted lining on the inside and would be perfect for mild winter weather. The fit is true to size, and it's very flattering with the flared sleeves and the cinched-in waistline. The shell does have a slight sheen to it, but it's very soft and comfy. Very happy with this purchase!
I can already tell this will be my go to jacket everyday. It just feels so soft and warm without being too hot. I was expecting a stiff jacket but was pleasantly surprised. The pocket placement is perfect, the cord to cinch the waist is on the inside. I hate having a bunch of dangling strings off my coats and this one has none. Simple, flattering, casual, would work a little more dressed up, practical and so so cozy.
This jacket is so nice. It's not super heavy and bulky but is a substantial jacket and will keep me warm. It is a pliable and soft material. I dont cinch the waist, and the jacket is an A-line shape, which balances with the sleeves. Great quality. I would normally wear an XL, but I wanted it roomy for sweaters and a little slouchy at the same time. Love the jacket, it perfect
Just received this piece and the fabric is beautiful with nice accents on the collar and sleeves. The wider / bell sleeve is a bit more modern than your standard barn jacket. The black color is a bit of a 'dusty' black, which could really pass for black or navy. It will match with a ton. I ordered the small petite (my regular size is either a small p or medium p) at 30 weeks pregnant and it will be good for now and post-partum so it runs a little oversized. Perfect fall weight jacket.

I came here to see if this jacket was available in other colors--I love it that much! Here's why: --Material - the collar, cuffs and body of the jacket feel "elevated" in texture, especially for this price point! --Bell shaped sleeves - my pet peeve is outerwear that prevents me from freely moving my arms; these sleeves will allow you to wear a sweater underneath without feeling constricted! --Ability to cinch in the waist - my waist is smaller than my hips, so the ability to cinch in the waist to give the jacket shape is brilliant! I'll be wearing this jacket throughout the Fall, until the cold Chicago winter forces me into something warmer. And please--consider offering this in other colors, such as burgundy, green, etc.

I'm 5 foot 1, 34D-28-38, 125 lbs with narrow shoulders and curvy hips. PXS fit me in an oversized manner, pretty much like it appears on the model. The style is classic, yet modern with the A-line sleeves, being a stylish design detail. I should be wearing this for years--now with wide pants, and in the future with skinnies, when they come back into style. The fabric isn't a true waxed cotton, but it's still nice. I wish the corduroy at the collar and cuffs was better quality. It feels cheap, like it's not 100% cotton. This is a great coat for early fall here in Quebec. It's large enough to put a thick sweater under. Give this item a try in your own wardrobe! SIZING NOTE TO GAP, Inc: PXS is a lot larger than the PXS items I owned from Gap from 20-30 years ago when I weighed 20 pounds less. My daughter who is the same height and weight I was back then is sized out of wearing many Gap items due to vanity sizing. She too would be a customer for decades, if you offered a PXXS in tops and jackets. #sweepstakes
