I bought it for my son around age 4 or 5 and it slightly distorts over time but in a really great way. The softness and weight stays but he's barely grown out of it and he's now 8. The material was terrible, thin and cheap. Very disappointed in the quality. We bought this bathrobe size 6 and 8 and we loved it! Next size up was returned.
