Just received this shirt. I was expecting a regular flannel shirt but this is more of a thinner, slightly brushed cotton. That being said, it is super cute on. It washed well and did not require ironing after partially drying and hang dry. I love it.
Gap seems very confused about what material flannel is. This is a thin cotton weave, with absolutely no flannel element. There is no brushing. It is a thin, summery material. You can see through it if you hold it up to the light. It is very cropped. Even the tall length tucked into high waisted je...ans will show skin on the sides. The front is tight across the chest, causing the fabric to pull around the buttons, while the back is loose. I'll keep it because it will be a cute summer shirt, with sleeves rolled up and half unbuttoned over a swimsuit or cami. However if you are looking for a cozy and warm fall flannel, this is not it.

The reviews kept saying it's too small? I'm 5'8 and 145 and the medium was still a bit big so I'm not sure if the other reviews wanted it to be extra baggy when it's fitted (per description). However, if you have a bigger bust, you'll likely need to size up.

gapcanada.ca/Loved the colour and cropped length (i got a L-Tall), but the fit was awful on me. Gapped really badly across the bust, and I don't think sizing up would've helped. The fabric is so thin that it felt like it could tear if it got caught on a sharp corner. The buttons look quite cheap in person and are very thick, not easy to get through the holes Would not recommend unless you have a relatively flat chest (im a c cup). Does seem like it would be good for layering since it is so thin.

Very nice color. Material felt comfortable and soft. My issue comes with the tailoring. I got the M. On the waist it fit well with ample room not tight. However, at the bust, it was tight. For reference, I am a small 36C cup, i have an average frame, not too small/big. Not enough usually to cause issues with clothes. While tight in the front, at the top back there's this weird extra fabric that was really loose and created a bulking effect. Yet it was tight at the front?? I really wanted to like it but not the best for my body type.
