The uniform ponte easy flare pants have become the only uniform pants my daughter will wear. They run true to size. The pants have a very smooth and comfortable feel to them. They have the perfect amount of stretch that keeps them easy to move in no matter the activity she's doing while not stretchi...ng out. The waistband sits nicely just above her hips and the seat frames her body without riding up or feeling too tight. The black color has stayed a true black even after washing and machine drying and they had very little, if any, shrinkage. They are a very versatile pant that can be worn dressed up or with sneakers and a T-shirt and look great both ways. For reference I bought a size 12 for my child who is 80lbs and 4'6" tall.
I bought my daughter 3 pairs of these pants for school. The difference in length among the pants is ridiculous! There is a 4 inch difference in length! Customer service was no help. They want me to return the pants and then once they receive the pants they will send replacements? My girl will have ...no pants to wear to school then. GAP should stand by their product and make it right. Other companies do! Other companies replace the defective item without requiring you to send back the defective one first. I'm seriously disappointed in the response from customer service.

Totally chic' and age appropriate for my 7 year old granddaughter. The flared bottom works great with all styles of tops, tee shirts, blouses and sweaters. She loves the comfort of them, true to size, and she has 3 different pair of this adorable flared leggin' style in black, navy, and the sweater pink. Highly recommended.

I regret only ordering 1 of these pants for my daughter. I wanted to have her try them out before I got more. Once we saw how comfortable they were, and what a great uniform pant option they are, I went to order more but they have been out of the blue pants in her size since then. I check back every day to see if they are back in stock and have been disappointed. Don't be like me. If they have your kid size and color, order a bunch. You won't regret it.
