Love this top except struggled with the sizing. I'm usually a small, sometimes XS. Started with the small and it was WAY too big with major gaping in the armpits. Exchanged for an XS and now it's a little tight but I'm trying to work with it. Otherwise I love it, just don't understand the sizing!
I ordered this and another linen-blend eyehole fabric top. Both are very oversized. I would normally order a S and ordered an XS because of reviews, but it feels like it's still about 2-3 sizes too big! The arm holes are huge -- fabric gapes about 2" from my torso -- and the straps are wider than is... comfortable. I love the design of the button-down front and neckline, and slightly elevated idea of the basic top -- but the execution is off.

I originally ordered this in a size XL, my usual size but it was tight across the bust and short in length, even though I ordered a tall size. I brought it back and reordered in a size XXl Tall. This was massively big so in the body of the top but the length was perfection. I am just under 6' tall and need a tall size in clothing so I am keeping it but it is presently at the tailors shop to have it brought in through the body and the straps shortened slightly so that my undergarments don't hang out. The seamstress marveled at the quality and said that once it is altered, it will fit me perfectly! Here is to hoping. Disappointing that the XL didn' t fit----Gap needs to rethink how their garments are sized.
