Nice dress but weird cut of upper part

The color is not the same as on the picture but still nice. The lace details are pretty. It gives slimmer look. Hover when I tried it on I was about to return it. The upper part has very weird cut. Purchased size L my normal size. I am 38D but upper part of this dress is so huge don't know how wide should be shoulders or how big should be the chest to fit it. I sew so I am planning to fix it by myself. But I gave 3 stars for wrong cut of upper part of this beautiful dress.

Pretty but unflattering pleating

Dress is very pretty and fit okay but the pleating in the front makes it poof in a very weird way. I don't really feel like it can be fixed with ironing either. Also the neckline was very big and loose and kind of gapped. For me it simply was not worth the money to keep it. I'm 5'1 and the petite length was perfect.
