So my old GAP jeans are literally falling apart... they were straight legged, mid rise jeans that I can now hold up to the light and see through parts of them. Yes, they have a cool rip in the knee but when they are also threatening to rip at the crotch, it's time to find another pair. Low and beh...old, these Mid-rise GF (in TALL!) in dark wash are likely the SAME JEAN! I tried the lighter wash too (with the unfinished hem) and they don't have as much stretch and made me look a bit wider than normal at the hips. I'm only 5'5" (130-ish lbs) but the tall gives me the length to throw them in the dryer without concern of them shrinking too much. (I ordered 27 tall- and they feel good, and comfy) (would be ok if they shrunk a tiny bit too cuz I don't baby my jeans- they must tolerate being in a dryer)(how many parentheses can I fit in one review?). I'm tired of the skinny, or wide, or cropped ... I just want jeans I can throw on and wear whatever shoes (and socks!) I want with them. It's cold and wet here. I could wear these with sandals, boots, running shoes, clogs, whatever. Maybe these are not the jeans for a night on the town but definitely for a night on the couch. THANK YOU GAP for allowing me to replace my fav jeans.
