I squat a decent amount at the gym and my thighs have always been naturally bigger relative to the rest of my body. Most pants that fit well around the waist are almost always too tight around the thighs and/or the calves are too wide.Previously I bought the Standard Taper no-stretch jeans and was a... 31/30 , which i felt was a bit tight but overall manageable. Visually the fit looked good. I bought the same size for these jeans and then had to exchange for a 30/30. I haven't worn size 30 waist pants in the past 3 years at least (I'm a young guy). The fit is pretty good now, except the butt of the pants is too baggy and it looks sloppy. I will still continue to wear regularly but I'll need to choose tops that hide the butt a bit.I hope that in the future GAP continues to produce these jeans, but please tighten up the butt and maybe get the sizing consistent across all their pants.*On a side note I feel that they should use a model who's body type is actually suited to these jeans. Also these jeans stretch quite a bit. I'm confused as to how much stretch jeans should actually "stretch" relative to non-stretch jeans.
