I tried this on at the GAP store before buying; I normally wear a Lg due to my bust size, but I got a perfect fit in a medium, and I adore it. The best part is the shoulder straps have adjustable buttons, which is excellent if you have small shoulders.
Nice dress. But really heavy material. Though I'd die of heat wearing it in the summer. I sized up to a large and the buttons looked a bit strained But the material was stretchy. For reference I usually wear a size 10

Order my usual size, small/4/27 tall with perfect fit. I'm 6'1 143lbs for reference. I just can't stand all the buttons. Just to get it on off is way too much hassle. Needs a side zip or snaps or just a zip and no buttons. Had to return.

I ordered a tall size and it is great length and fit, except under arms/ bust area. Way too big and cut funny under arms, like the top was bigger size than the bottom. I kept this dress anyway cause I loved it so much, but returned 2 others for that exact reason.
