It's interesting. I got this jean in the dark rinse, and the dark indigo. Same size. I am 5'6" and ordered the regular, regular. The dark indigo, has about an inch too much length that drags on the floor with my Adidas Sambas. The dark indigo is also very similar in color to the dark rinse, but the ...dark rinse has an extra seam that runs diagonal across the shin. Most importantly, the dark rinse does not drag on the floor, it's the perfect length and skims the top of my sambas. Both fit perfectly in the waist and rear end and are very comfortable. I would never wear this jean with a high heel so the dark indigo that is longer is a little annoying for me. The model pics looks the opposite of what I'm describing, just FYI.
These are a cute and flattering style. However, they are only comfortable while standing still. As soon as I take a few steps, everything goes right up my bum. There is also a particular type of torture happening in the crotch area when I sit down. The rise is just too darn close to body for how eas...y the fit is in the hips and legs. Gap, please have your fit model walk and sit in your denim before approving! Ouch! To recap, standing and having a chat around water cooler = lovely. Walking and sitting = self inflicted torture device.

Ordered these barrel jeans in the color Light Indigo in my normal size (28 Regular) and when they came in I thought I had to have ordered the wrong size on accident. They were easily 2 sizes to small if not more, I could barely get them on. They were also extremely short which is not how they look in the picture. Super disappointing because they would have been cute had the sizing been even remotely accurate.

Waist is really high. Legs are too big. Material is very nice. Sizing us way off. I went up 3 sizes.. I had to send back all 3 pairs. The biggest pair had huge legs and length was longer than the other sizes. Return is free. Shipping was free. They arrived very quickly.

Nice oversized fit. Take your usual size. Plus the leopard print is on trend right now. A nice addition to my wardrobe, especially while it's on sale. I can wear these in place of blue jeans for most outfits casual or for a dinner out.
