After months of design, sourcing, researching, negotiating, making calls all around the world, organising. Putting time and energy into producing a responsible product from Organic cotton (which is a lower financial reward) I'm not going to simply say "This is not 100% cotton" with very little knowl...edge in textiles and no proof. Anyway :) socks are comfortable, non-clammy, just the right thickness and look like they'll stand up against loads of washes. Look up the size chart to see if you're on the big or small end of the scale for S/M or M/L
Purchased these from the ladies accessories section online and when received them they are labelled as Men's Socks. I see they sell 2 different sizes so I did pick S/M & at a size 7 1/2 foot the heel was still a bit big (past my heel). They are also quite tight at the ribbed area & go 1/4 way up you...r calf so if you are sensitive to a tight sock (I had to fold them in half to my ankle) only had them on a short time & still found them irritating. Also they aren't very thick and won't be a warm winter sock - they aren't like last year's version which were very soft & cozy.

gapcanada.ca/I don't usually write reviews, but feel I have to warn others that these particular socks become holey very quickly. I bought 4 pairs and all 4 had holes appear after less than 10 wears. One pair I wore twice. I've never had holes appear so quickly in any socks in my life. They look great, feel comfy, and seem to be high quality but the soles of the socks are actually really poor!
