Gap knocked it out of the park with these jeans. Baggy jeans like this SHOULD be constructed with a thin and flowy fabric. And that's exactly what these are. That perfect slouchy drape that looks so cool and effortless. Yet somehow, they do not look sloppy. I've never felt a more comfortable pair o...f jeans right out of the bag than these. And extra points for the fact that they actually offer a wide variety of sizes in Petite. I'm 5 feet tall, and around a size 16-18 (I purchased 34 Petite, might have even gotten away with a 33) and these were perfect. May not be able to wear them with a super flat shoe, but they were still perfect in length with a chunky sneaker. I'm going on to buy another pair right now. After years of enduring ridiculous skinny jeans, these are a breath of fresh air, lol. Gap, please re stock!
I measured myself according to the size guide and ordered what I thought would be one fitted size to sit at my waist and one looser to sit at my hips. The looser size, which is labeled as a 33 inch waist is actually a 40 inch waist and the legs are so insanely wide I could probably conceal at least ...2 small children inside each pant leg. The smaller size, labeled as a 31 inch waist is actually a 36 inch waist. So I guess just do what the gap does and don't actually measure anything, just use your intuition to label the size and take a guess when you order, but actually size down by at least two sizes vs your actual measurements. Sucks bc now all the other sizes are sold out and had they fit they might have actually been cute in Y2K massively baggy jeans kind of way. So thanks Gap, for trying to convince people they're smaller than they are by weirdly messing with your size labels. I knew there was a reason I haven't shopped here in years.

These pants are cute. Love that you can order in a short inseam. But they bled horribly the first wash. Definitely be careful washing them with other things. I washed with another new pair of pants that were thankfully dark, but they had lighter pocket inserts that are now pinkish. There was residual red in my washer - I had to run a cleaning cycle on the washer after washing these pants.

I am 5'6" and while that has always meant I get Gap's regular length in the past, that seems to have changed. Regular is a foot too long in these. I tried to order my size in short, but they aren't available higher than size 33. I wear a 34 and thought maybe since these are baggy, I would try the 33 short. No dice. While I can zip them up, they don't fit as intended. Perfect length but tight in the rear and waist. So sad, have to send them back. I loved the wine color and really wanted these to work. Usually Gap is size inclusive but not so much with these.

I am quite short, and the petite size fit well in length, but I hated these in the dark blue indigo wash. I didn't like the contrasting stitching, and the fabric was very stiff. Rather than draping, the jeans just kind of flared out. I have other wide-leg jeans that look good, so maybe another wash would have been better, but these were a no-go for me.
