Pink dye caused an terrible allergic reaction

I bought this shirt in pink and black. Super soft and comfy. I noticed the pink dye rubbed off on my bra and then I broke out in hives and allergic rash all over my torso where the shirt came into contact with my skin. Only the pink shirt did this. I don't know what chemicals they are using for this dye but it was very bad for my skin. I've never had this issue with Gap clothes before but it took a month for the rash to fully develop and then go away. It was awful. Be wary of the pink dye.

This t-shirt fits me well. It's a good basic shirt, and the bright colors look great on me. It is evenly dyed, and the fabric is not flimsy. I bought a size larger than usual because I didn't want it to be too tight or to show skin around my middle. It reaches just below my waist.

I am a true petite at 5'. These cropped tees were way too short for even me. They hit right at my waist. Any arm movement raised the garment so that skin was showing. I prefer the cropped tees that hit a couple inches or so below the waistline. The material was okay and I liked the boxy fit. I returned the ones that I bought.
