I had bought these in Dark Brown a few mos. ago and really like how they have become more comfortable with wear and came back and got the off-white. In the brown I bought the 'short' inseam, and this time bought the short and regular inseam, as each pair will run differently. What my pet peeve is, a...nd no one will update the Gap size guide to match the description, is that they show different measurements for the inseam. NOTE: the description is correct, the guide is wrong, although the short I bought this time only measured 28 1/2, not 29. I kept the regular which is 301/2 and is much better with flats. I am 5'5, 117, very short waisted so my height is all in my legs. I went up to the 28, from my usual 27, since no stretch and I cannot stand anything tight, esp. in a light color. I also like to pull the pants to sit lower as being so short waisted this rise can be uncomfortable and odd on my short torso. The off white is great color and goes with all the Gap off white and cream sweaters and cardigans. I got on sale and thought great buy. This style will always be in. I also like how they stretch out and conform to body with wearing, but don't bag out in the behind or knees...you just need to order a few, even if in same size, as all are cut differently.
Okay! 5'3" 130, pear shaped. Usually a size 6/28 petite or short. I had to purchase a 30 petite to finally get the right fit. Note these pants are low stetch material so do not expect any give with these jeans. On the other hand the acid washed color is definitely awesome and once you can nail yo...ur comfortable fit they are good. I didnt want to give up on these but here is my experience: 28 petite - I cant even pull these up let along zip them. Returned. 29 short - i can pull them up, and can zip them up halfway before im dying. Returned. 28 short - I tried the 29 short first and I didn't even bother. Returned. 30 petite - full length as stated and appropriately snug through hips and thighs. KEEP! There you go.

I'm an equestrian and these are perfect riding jeans! Wide enough for boots, narrow enough so they don't ride up (like flares). High rise to keep everything covered and durable enough to wear hard for a few years. Probably need to buy a few more pairs! A lot of riding jeans run super long, so I was thrilled to find these because they stack well without dragging. I'm 5'4" and wear a 6/8 or 29.

Sizing is way off. I have this style pants in 4 different colours, all size 26. This green pair is more like a 24. Way small. Please get your consistency in sizing under control! I also did not like the copper coloured studs on the pockets. Too shiny for my taste. It's a shame because the green colour is really nice.

I really liked this jeans in the photo. However, I was confused about the size because the sizing was based on waist size, not women's sizes that I'm used to on Gap.com (i.e.: (2, 4, 6, 8, 10, 12, 14, 16, 18, 20, etc). I am a size 12 or 14 depending on the cut, but measuring my waist I ordered a 34. I had a feeling that the 34 would be too big, but I ordered the jeans anyway because I have curves. I also ordered a size 33 in another pair (and had the same feeling). When I got the jeans BOTH were too big in the waist and the crotch had that "baggy, saggy look" that I can't stand. Since there was NO option to exchange them, I'm returning them. Waht an inconvenience. These jeans are TOO expensive to have to be CONFUSED about what size to buy. Gap needs to stop using waist sizes for their women's jeans and use the usual 2, 4, 6 ...1x, 2x, etc. (for example) measuring labels for women's pants sizes. Had those labels been provided, I would have ordered the correct size. I purchase clothing from GAP alot and this just annoyed the heckk out of me. The quality of the jeans is great, superb GAP workmanship, the color true to description, the denim a bit light weight which I liked.
