Ran into Gap with an emergency and needed a pair of black jeans. Funds were tight and I was frantic in the store and an employee helped me, we went straight to the sale rack. I didn't have high hopes but she made it happen for me. I didn't think the jeans would fit me good since I am short. But the... moment I tried them on they were perfect. The fit, the length, the high waist and a dark solid black. The price fit just in my budget. I was so grateful for her and so happy she found those cheeky jeans. I plan on buying more in different colors.
These jeans have mixed reviews and I was very confused on what size to order. For reference I'm 5"6, 147lbs., 27 1/2 waistline. On the slim fit I usually order a 6 (28) R. Since a lot of the reviews stated the jeans sun small I went for a 30R. I was looking for a loose fit jeans so I didn't mind if ...they were a little big on me. When I first tried it on I was please although there was a gap on my waisttline. Jeans are really a straight fit, not too wide or skinny. After wearing them a whole day, boy these jeans stretched out! After one wear they went up a size and now is really loose around my waist. I think a 29 would've been better. Fabric on the black one is light and stretchy unlike the darker blue wash. I noticed the sizes varied depending on the color.

I LOVED these the second i put them on so i took the tags off and wore them. Over the course of the day they became MASSIVE on me. SO MUCH gap between the waistband and my waist that was not there when i first put them on. I had to go and buy a smaller pair and now i'm stuck with the old saggy ones that feel two sizes too big.

I have and love my several Gap jeans, all size 30/10 mid- and high-rise, skinny and straight legs. I was shocked at how small these run! I managed to squeeze into them and would have considered sizing up but these are real lint magnets. They were covered in fuzz just by me trying them on. Avoid!

Great fit! I have these in blue as well. I'm 5'6 and they fit right at my ankle. Perfect length for flats or boots. The dark inky black is perfect for both work and weekend!

Comfortable easy fit and true straight leg with no stretch. I am 135 pounds and 5'6" and a 28 fit well everywhere except a little loose in the waist. I have the same jeans in the dark blue color and they are tighter overall.

Purchased based on size chart: size 31 regular. For reference I'm 5'7, 150lbs. These are so big, I was shocked when I tried them on. Initially ordered because they are an inky black, not a faded black. Returned them in-store but unfortunately, they didn't carry the Cheeky style so I couldn't ensure the correct fit. To assist with this, I tried on the 90s straight that also has a high waist and low stretch one size down: 29 regular- and they fit perfectly. I was able to order the same jean in this size and hope when it arrives, I won't have to go down another size.
