I had gap carpenter jeans 30 years ago and they were my favorite and these don't disappoint. They sit on hips, loose through seat and a great straight leg. Who designed these? They are laughable. The leg is tapered for starters. It goes from 11" across above the knee down to 9" at the bottom hem. not straight leg so they hang all ganky and stupid and look as such. Next, the rise is 10.5" (on my size 26 short inseam). Short with a short waist, but can't stand ankle-exposing pants. The Short length in this rode up too much when sitting, crossing legs, etc. Great color and comfort, but returned due to length. Really wish Gap would make petite proportions with longer inseams. #sweepstakes

Please tell me how a size 27 translates to a 30" waist? Especially when the sizing chart said a size 27 is a 27.5" waist. So, these were a tent and on top of that, the quality isn't great and the button hole was unfinished. Pretty disappointed. If you order, go at least 1 size down, but 2 wouldn't hurt

Please make these in more colors and I will buy every one of them!!! Perfect rise and length. I am 6'2 and purchased the 30Long, they are the perfect size. I typically wear a size 10 and have a 33 inseam. They fit exactly like they do on the model.
