As someone with an athletic body shape -- broad shoulders, wider rib cage and no hips -- skater-style dresses are my ride or die, especially when there is no seam at the waist. It gives a more fluid outline to the body, and the skirt on this dress flares out beautifully. I nabbed the tomato red when... it was on sale, loved it so much that I grabbed it in the green stripe as well as the denim version. They will be in heavy rotation this summer. The only bone I have to pick is with the linen-blend ones -- there is some weird puckering going on at the bottom of each of the straps on the front, right above the chest. It's not as noticeable with the red version but with the stripes, it's very noticeable due to the design. I assume this is not a defect in the garment but rather in the design. That's honestly what's stopping me from buying any more colorways.
The floral pattern and material were pretty. However, the size I ordered - my usual, petite medium - was much too big and not petite at all, except for maybe the length. The straps were insanely long; the neckline fell nearly under my bust; and the armholes and bust width gaped by several inches. Ev...en if the measurements had been more true to size, the proportions were not petite in any way. Has Gap stopped doing actual petite sizing (shortening/tailoring proportionally, not just the length)?

The shape is very flattering if you have wider hips and a smaller waist! I was being cautious so I bought it a bit big, but I have a sewing machine, and it looks like a pretty easy job to take the sides in at the smocking and to shorten the straps. I'd like to buy it again in the red if they ever bring it back in stock, in which case I would definitely size down! It seems quite versatile; I think you could style this dress in a few ways, like wearing a long-sleeved shirt under and pairing it with cute tights.

I really like this product, probably need to iron it a bit before wearing it. The fabric texture is a little bit different to what I expected but is a great fabric though.

The dress is light and the fabric feels thin, it is okay to style with other clothes. Length is okay and it runs a bit small
