I agree with other reviewers - the sizing is off on top as if someone sewed a larger top onto a smaller skirt. I'm in between a S and M, but got the medium. I actually really like it - I'm 5'4" - not too long, not too short. The fabric is a nice, pretty, medium weight cotton, and it's lined, not see... through, overall really well made. The straps are slightly elasticized to be adjustable for fit, but I'm a petite up top and they're a little long, which I can get altered. I can barely button the waist, so if the smallest part of your waist is 30" or less, the medium will not fit; however, I do like how it defines my waist. I'm around 138 lbs and a 34DD for reference and it's still loosey-goosey up top, especially along the upper edge (it bags out under my armpits) - I'll need to get that tightened up a little as well. There's a little bit of wide elastic hidden in the seams at the back of the waist and upper edge (could use more at the upper edge). No zipper, so you have to unbutton the waist buttons to slide it over your head. I usually will never spend over $100 on a dress, but because of the quality and style, I'll make minor alterations and keep it.

It could be so much better. I am hoping to find a tailor to take in the skirt.

I bought an XL-T. Contrary to what other commenters said, I think the bust is an OK size but then tapers quite a bit under the bust - when I sit down, some of the buttons come undone. The skirt, on the other hand, has too much extra fabric, and it makes me look much more bottom heavy than I am. I love the pockets though, and it is comfortable. I don't have super easy access to tailoring, but I kept the dress because I am tall and have a hard time finding anything else like this dress, so I'm quite used to settling with clothing. As other comments have mentioned, there is a weird amount of room at the top of the rib cage. I considered returning it but otherwise found the quality to be good (e.g., opaque). So, I opted to get it altered, which I rarely do, but justified that the cost of alteration is offset by the discount I got.

Beautiful dress. Fits so nicely, 5' 6", 128 lbs ordered a small. The straps give and are thick which sit nicely on shoulders. The dress is tapered nicely around my waste and flows so nicely. Great fabric and it will be used a ton this summer for not only date nights but on days where it is hot.
