Listen, I love the cut of the dress, and I know how to sew, so I can fix it, but the dress arrived damaged. When I opened the bag and unfolded the dress, one of the neck ties fell to the ground. Took me a second to realize what it was. I'll unpick the neckline and reattach the tie, but that's pretty embarrassing quality for the price. Assuming you order and don't get a damaged one, I would recommend it if a Doen one is outside of your price point.

Honestly, I was so excited about this dress, it looked dreamy and adorable online but was a huge disappointment. I returned it. As mentioned by other reviewers there is no give in the bust, which honestly was fine with me (smallish chest- 34 B over here), BUT despite the rest of the dress being lined there is ZERO lining in the bust. Which not only makes it see through but also gives it a flimsy, baggy look. And because of the cut it can't be worn with a bra. Definitely not what I want. With these collaborations with high-end designers and items that are "exempt from promotions" honestly Gap, do better! Side note - but not the reason I am returning. The dress I received was obviously a return, (which I'm happy the item was returned to the stream and not disposed of), but someone needs to take better care checking and packing. The zipper was unzipped, the ties untied, the dress was shoved directly into the packaging in a way that made it come out wrinkled. Overall truly awful.

The bust is ridiculously small - be prepared to overflow the top if you are bigger than an A cup. If that is not the look you are going for, this is not for you. It's very cute but very unforgiving and unflattering on a midsized person.

Another item I ordered still had the security tags on it. Why can't GAP do decent quality control on their products? Especially if they're going to charge this much for them?

I really liked this dress and wanted it to fit me. I am 5'9" so the length was perfect, but the middle area was too tight and unforgiving. I wish it had pockets too.
