These are shockingly bad.
I've been buying Gap's pink socks for years—but the latest version is a major downgrade. Cheap cotton, garment-dyed, and poorly made. Even after washing in hot and then cold, they're still bleeding dye. Now my insoles, feet, and carpet are stained pink.
This isn't a minor quality slip—it's a produc...t failure. You can and should do better, Gap.

Two big fails on the socks in the standout pink colour - the pink transferred to the inside of my brand new white sneakers, and they got a hole on the side when I pulled them on maybe the third time I wore them. Very disappointing.

These socks look like a nicely faded out dark pink in the photos, but they're actually NEON PINK! No fading whatsoever. I should have sent them back. They stained the inside of my high top sneakers (and yes, I washed them first) and now the shoes have also stained a white pair of socks I wore after. I'm going to have to either bleach them out or just throw them out. What a waste.
