The leather is a decent quality — it doesn't scratch or peel at the edges when you put it through the buckle. It also doesn't slip, despite not having holes or a tongue. My one complaint is that the finish is just a little shiny so it looks a little like pleather instead of real leather. Buckle look...
The leather felt thin and I seemed like after a few wearings the color was going to wear off the edges of the belt and look bad. Just feels cheap. Returned it right away. The positive is that the buckle does hold the belt securely at any point.
