The gray shorts waist is a good inch less in XS than the black. This makes them too small and the small is too large in gray. The black get 5 stars, the gray 1, but I will rate an overall 4 stars. In reality I should wear a medium nut gave been in a S or XS for years with gap sweats.
I ended up giving these away. I've gotten other Gap shorts that were lined and lighter. These are not lines and kind of thicker than I like for exercise. I don't sit around the house in shorts and when I wear shorts in the summer I like khaki type shorts. These are comfortable just prefer exercise w...ear to sweat in and change out of afterwards.
