Description is Accurate--Big and Puffy!

I ordered this coat as well as a water resistant long puffer coat from Banana Republic to compare the two. This was a nice, thick, warm coat for sure, but I ended up returning it in favor of the other one. It was just a bit too much like wearing a sleeping bag for me, but it definitely did the job...

My coat doesn't have a zipper?

I have the puffy vest and love that so I got the coat version and I just got it and it's super nice and warm but I noticed it doesn't have a zipper only the buttons. I'm like "that's interesting did it not have one?" But the pictures of the product and every other review mentions having a zipper so ...

After wearing this coat for the last 2 months, I am very happy with it. It has kept me warm outside for extended periods in -20 wind-chill weather. It is definitely a very puffy coat - not the most figure flattering. But if you are looking for a coat that is super warm and roomy, this is a great choice. I also love that it has elastic in the hood, so it actually stays on my head in the wind.

Wow! This coat is a 10! Super soft and lightweight but not overly bulky. I love the Primaloft PURE material and length. I can't comment on the warmth as I haven't worn it yet, but for the weather in NC, I think it will be sufficient. Plus, I got it on sale so I'm extremely pleased with my purchase.

I have always been cold before I bought this jacket. Let's elaborate on that. I have always had a coat of course while living in New England you don't have a choice. You're always cold no matter what coat you have but HONEY THIS COAT it's like being on a warm cloud. I don't feel anything wherever this coat lands. I have bought my whole family a cold control coat. YOU SHOULD TOO!

The plastic zip is not good. It won't last a winter. I usually wear xl for t-shirts. This xl was too big for me. Otherwise it's warm enough for Quebec temperature.
