I ordered this sweater and had to return two of them (one in the navy/green, and the other in the cream/brown) because they had loose or broken threads in the middle. Threads that were clearly going to unravel. I finally got a good one, but if I hadn't found it at an excellent sale price, I wouldn...'t have bothered. Please keep in mind that these sweaters appear to get damaged easily. And the GAP isn't necessarily noticing the issue before shipping them out. On a positive note, the fit is great, I took my usual tall small and the length is perfect. This is a fall/winter sweater, as it's on the heavier side.
Out of the package this sweater was a dream! Great feel and fit. Upon its first wash and dry (per label care instructions) it was absolutely riddled with pills and a couple snags. I've never had this happen to a cotton sweater on its first wash; I'm really disappointed that I can't even wear this sw...eater out before investing in a de-pilling machine. Now I can't even return it!

It's a nice, heavy weight sweater, yet breathable. I don't like itchy sweaters and this is definitely not that. I gave it 4 stars because I didn't think the model photo depicted how much of a crop sweater it is in real life. I even ordered a tall and find that the bottom of the sweater barely hits the top of my belly button.

The material is good and it feels thick. The drop shoulders are a bit more prominent then I would like but it's still a quality sweater.
