I have bought these a few times for my son. His shoe size is 9 1/2. I purchase the m/l. They run big on him, so the gray heal ends up on his ankle. When wearing shorts, it does not look good. I am sure in time they will shrink. I am afraid if I buy the smaller size, they will not fit after they ...shrink. The quality is good. I always look for the most cotton when buying socks.
I've been a big fan of Gap crew socks for many years. My family all like them very much and we've bought numerous pairs. I've even given them as gifts. One recipient said "they feel like hugs for your feet." Unfortunately, these aren't those socks. I've tried the GAP website, GAP store and GAP ...factory and can't find the socks I want. These socks are fine but I don't find them special and will not be buying them again. Don't know why they changed an excellent product.

These ankle socks have a perfect medium thickness, not too thick like some others. They are available in sizes S/M and M/L. I wear a size 8.5, and the pair I tried ran slightly long in the foot.

Good quality, thick. I like it when identical socks are sold bundled together in a pack, and hate those bundles where each pair is a different color. Because my washer and dryer eat socks.
