The good things about this pant is that the fabric is really lovely. So soft with a bit of stretch, not too thick or thin. And the cut of the leg is great on my figure. My legs always look like logs in khakis but these are just a bit tapered. If you're looking for a straight or relaxed cut, you may ...not be happy with these. The Chino Beige color has a buttery yellow undertone to it which I didn't love. I was hoping it was more of a Stone or like the New Off White in the Downtown shorts. Sadly I have to return these. Like many posters have noted, the waist sizing is strange. I'm a size 8 and sized up to a 10, which is no big deal. It fit great in the hips and legs. Even the waist fit nicely without being too tight. But the odd part for me is the one to two inches BELOW the waist. It looks like it's pulling even though it isn't. I believe the pattern is cut too tight in that section, causing the pant to pull unattractively in that spot. This is why people are remarking that the waist section is too tight or it's showing every tummy line. Even my husband remarked "what's going on in the waist area?" I really want to keep these. The price is to die for and the cut is perfect for me. But I realize I have to return it until the pattern can be recut differently.
I ordered what I consider to be my "normal size" (based on the size chart and also the size I wear with numerous other brands), and I ordered one size up, based on the fact that numerous reviewers commented that they run small in the waist. The sizing of these were just weird for me. They fit grea...t in the hips and butt, but the large size that I ordered was about 2-3 inches too small when trying to button at the waist. I'm afraid getting a much larger size to fit my waist would end up being baggy in my hips and butt. With that said, these would probably be great pants for curvy ladies (I don't have wide hips at all), but just be aware the waist sizing is off. Also, I ordered "Petite" because I'm short and usually need a shorter inseam, but the Petite was like capris on me. Everything seemed off with these, for me at least.

TTS. I'm 5'3 and petite shorter than I wanted but they will work. Not super soft and haven't washed or worn yet so, I don't know if they are wrinkle free.

I enjoy the soft material of the pants. They have a good stretch when I walk and sit. The color also goes perfect with a lot of shirts in my closet. I absolutely love Gap clothing for me, whether it's for work or casual. Gap never disappoints. I can go into a Gap storefront pick out what I like in my size without having to try it on. I love that Gap makes clothes for all sizes but especially for women like me who are a little more curvy. I shop for my nieces and nephews at Gap and they love the clothes as well. I can never go wrong with Gap!

Love!! I sized up in these. I had the size 8 in the shorts version and they run a tiny bit small on the waistband. Great thickness and stretch. Went to a 10P which is roomier on the hips and leg so just a heads up if you're in bt sizes

I'm in between sizes and ordered the larger of the 2. These are so off! They're nice pants, soft material but you're gonna have to order 2 sizes up for them to be comfortable. Going back. Gap has been so inconsistent with sizing in pants, this will be the last pair I order.

Loved the fabric and the look. Ordered my normal size (6) would need AT LEAST a size 10. I don't mind ordering sizes that fit but it was unbelievable how small it was.
