These long-sleeve (L/S) shirts are thick, non-see-through, and wash well. I purchased this top in the following colors: Light Heather Grey (like as shown in the picture), Black, Fresh White (pills after a few washes and there's discoloration, but I find that with most things that are white), and Hea...ther Beige (not at all the same color as shown in the picture - it's more like when the (brown) sand on the beach gets soaked) - it's a pretty color, but much darker and not so heathered as pictured here. I find that these tops fit a little larger, so if you like these to fit true-to-size, with little to extra fabric, I recommend going one size down. If you like a little bit of extra fabric, go with your true size.
I used to buy these all the time when the REAL GAP sold them. They were soft and made of great cotton. They were thick and flattering on and kept their shape and color . Everything here has been getting progressively worse for a long time. This top fades after first wash and shrinks even in cold was...h, gentle cycle, line dry. The ones I got last week fit like a huge box and lost their shape fast and all the stitching at hem came apart on both of them. I had threads hanging off. I kept them because they are okay to wear as pajama top but I wouldn't wear them in public. Breaks my heart because you were the only place that used to have quality clothes for talls. Banana Republic is better quality but no tall sweaters and everything is so over priced. I used to spend thousands here and had lovely clothes to wear in my office. No more.

gapcanada.ca/I have purchased these modern tees in the past and this version is SO clingy; fabric just doesn't drape the same. I tried sizing up and it did not help. It was really u flattering as it just bunched up everywhere. Love the brown colour though.

Wore these both before pregnancy and during pregnancy! Great pre pregnancy because you can tuck into any pants and great during pregnancy because they're long enough to cover the growing belly. Ordered in more colors since it is such a staple piece in my wardrobe and washes well which is key for me. Couldn't be happier!

I absolutely ADORE this top. I bought a style like this from the gap YEARS ago and have been looking for a dupe since. This was almost identical - and the length is PERFECT. Love the full length shirt. I will buy several more of this. Wish it came in more colors though!

I ordered 3 Modern Tall tees. One is last years' material - thicker and a nicer quality. I've been wearing Modern Tall tees 9-5, like a uniform -AH-mazing - but the new material? Fit seems like it will be okay. seems itchy...but haven't washed it yet... hopefully it will be the same as the ones I bought last year: 'Tall' fit is great for a 5'10" woman - longer body, generous sleeve length even after wash & drying for a year
