I'm 5'2" and most petite pants always need to be hemmed because retailers seem to think all petite women have 27" or 28" inseams. I have not measured these but I take 25" or 26" inseam and these hit right around ankle for me :) I took my usual 2P (26" waist and 37" hips) and the waist feels comfy/...stretchy. The hips and thighs aren't fitted, and they are high rise—a win on all counts in my book. I would prefer single pleats since these pleats don't lay completely flat but that might be the fabric too. The material is lightweight and they likely will be easy to machine wash. Gap, please offer more trousers like this, with both office and casual versatility. A deep navy, dark brown, and charcoal grey trouser in this design would be so good! Most importantly, this inseam for other petite pants would be very helpful!
These pants had a lot of promise. Seemed like the perfect pant to dress up or down. And they were the perfect length for me in petite being only 5ft; they hit right at ankle length. The fit in the waist was also great. And the material was a nice light-mid weight, meaning they would be great for dif...ferent seasons, Where these pants totally missed the mark was in the front. There was too much material and the pleats sat weird. I get they are supposed to baggy, which I am totally for, but this wasn't just baggy. This was unneeded material that wasn't really giving the cool look I was going for. Maybe different colors are made slightly differently or maybe you have to pose exactly like the models to get it to look right. So disappointing because these were close to amazing.
