This is not for the flannel shirt, it's for the Organic Cotton Cropped Shirt Size XL Tall. Unfortunately I have to exchange for a smaller size. I normally wear a L but went by the reviews that it runs small. It's definitely not small, in fact I may need to order a M to get the desired fitted fit. I ...don't like tight tops, but this is at least 4" too big around my chest. I'm 5'9", (the Tall sleeve length is perfect.), weigh 170lbs, bra sz 38D/DD, wear sz 10 pants, L top.
I'm 5'4" 138 lbs and wear a M. I ordered this in white to go with my high waisted wide legs. The fit was good but keep in mind there's not much stretch to it. I like this shirt but not how it arrived. It was mushed into a ball and put in the clear plastic sleeve B4 being packaged. QC must have been ...on vacation. Poor handling Gap. I've been a customer for years and have never had to iron one of your garments when it first arrived. Your close aren't cheap and shouldn't be treated that way.

wow, wow, wow! Have been searching for a fitted denim shirt with stretch. This is the holy grail. Good color, not too much stretch and looks great under a sweater, vest, jacket, etc. Have worn it alone w/dark jeans…looks so on trend. Great buy!

The shirt fit is not forgiving so one's body must be a fairly straight athletic, petite small bone type or the shirt just looks and feels oddly shrunken. Also, fabric is thinner, the feel cheaper, and the pattern less robust than when Banana Republic was truly a quality retailer, as is the case for many formerly reliable brands. The shirt looks and feels like it was mass produced as part of a quota requirement, whether by human or robot.

I am 5'8 and I order tall M to be longer. I should not do that; sleeves are to long. I like the shirt. Material is nice and soft.

Very fitted- if you are a C cup or bigger you might want to size up. I plan on wearing it under sweaters so the fitted shape works for me.
