I really can't figure out what child this bag would fit. My 8 year old son (who is quite tall for his age) liked the bag a lot, but it is enormous and I worry that it'll feel bulky and he won't wear it. Even the strap was way too long - even when I tightened it up as much as some of the stitching would allow, it was much larger than my kiddo's waist. I wish I hadn't been talked into keeping it, but I was, so I undid the stitching and resewed the strap, just to make it work. Again, it's cute, but the style and the sizing do not match.
