I received this parka today and am already in love. First, this is not your everyday, cheap nylon parka. The material is substantial and high quality - you get what you pay for. Also, I appreciate that it has a hood, which can be tucked away if preferred. It is definitely oversized - I'm 5'3" and ty...pically between a L and XL, and ordered a Petite M. This feels like this was made for me. If you're between sizes, I would go with the smaller size or one down. Even if I'd gone with the L, I'd be OK because it's meant to be a looser fit, and because you can cinch it at the waist, it wouldn't be unflattering. Overall, I'm impressed. This will be the perfect layering piece for rainy Spring and Summer days.
I didn't read the description when I purchased this item, which does state to size down a size or two, but even then this would still be absolutely massive in all the wrong areas. I do not know what jacket the model is wearing because mine literally looks like I've tossed on a sack. Absolutely do ...not recommend if you are on the shorter side like myself. The jacket overall is nice, and if it was sized appropriately I could see this being a nice parka, but overall would skip unless you can go down several sizes and you were tall.

I orderd a size smaller than m'y usual size and it falls well on the body. Still oversized. But the cut is modern and I like the style. The material is of good quality.

I got the M Petite- fits me perfectly arm length and I do like the oversized feel. A regular M would've been too big for my liking.

Very high quality parka. Double-layer construction, heavier than I expected. Well engineered snaps, zippers, hood storage collar. This will be my go-to all weather protection forever. It is truly oversized. I ordered a Medium, but probably could have used a small. Will keep though...it will cover a thick sweater or suit jacket very well in the winter.

Wore this today on a Portland rainy day and I wish I could still return it. I was soaked to the bone. Water came in at every seam on the shoulders and neck, and my hair was drenched through the hood. Such a bummer because the style is cute. If you do buy, be sure to size down one size at least.

Beautiful quality, but no joke about how oversized this is. I went down a size and it was still big. The good thing is that there are no shoulder seams, and internal tightening so that you can adjust the size, but consider going down 2 sizes from your usual

I am normally a size Large / XL In petite and checked the size guide so ordered size Large. Im swimming on it! Could have gotten away probably even with Small Unfortunately since the beige is final sale, Gap would not even help me even with just an exchange on sizing
