Earlier I bought the black and medium wash baby boot in a 26 petite. I am 5'2", 108lbs, pear shape. The fit is perfect. I liked them so much, I wanted the dark wash too, but they were sold out. So I patiently waited and kept checking for them to come back in stock almost everyday :). I just kne...w they would come back in stock at some point because they are a well designed updated jean. The dark wash came back in stock today, and I just ordered them, and then ordered another medium wash, so now I will have two medium washed jeans. The length is perfect. I was hoping they would shrink in length at least an 1/8" to a 1/4" and they did. I didn't put them in the drier. I never put my jeans in the drier unless I really need the jeans to be much smaller. Technically I am 5'1 1/2" and these jeans are about an 3/16" from the floor on me, so I can wear 1/2" to 3" high heeled shoes, or even higher with these jeans, and all these height options would look good.
I've been a faithful GAP customer since my early teens, about 31 years now, and love the jeans! Unfortunately, a few years ago they discontinued my favorite jean which was a GAP staple, (The Modern Bootcut). I just tried two new styles of jeans; The Mid Rise Baby Boot and the '70's flare. Neither je...an were available in the 24 Long, I ended up trying the 25 Long but they were just too big. The Baby Boot is truly a straight cut leg and two inches shorter than the '70's flare. The '70's flare jean is extremely flare and the perfect length. The Modern Bootcut was seriously the perfect fitting jean. When I wear my jeans I always receive compliments, females will ask where I purchased them from too. I always mention GAP (The Modern Bootcut), online only (but unavailable at the moment). Super comfy and a boot cut is always flattering. I have a very short waist so it fit like a high rise on me not medium, but I really can't complain. Will wear them a lot.

These jeans are extremely soft and comfortable! They hug my butt and legs perfectly and feel very comfortable and light. They sit below the bellybutton. I would definitely recommend them.
