I'm loving these! I'm a total jeans person, every time I try to add slacks/khakis to my wardrobe I either end up returning them or they sit in my closet unused because I just don't feel like they look good on me, "ill-fitting". On the contrary, these I've purchased in both colors and wish they had m...ore choices! I usually wear a size 4 in gap, jeans and purchase these in a size 6 petite for a little more relaxed look. The size 4 fit nice, but just wasn't the look I was going for. If you're like me, give them a try, you won't regret!
I bought these pants to wear for work, and while the material in the fit is really great, the waist proportions are totally off and ruins the pants for me. I'm 5'9" and approximately 145 pounds and have always been a size 6, tall. Nearly all of my pants are this size whether it's Lululemon, Gap, Ol...d, Navy, banana republic, etc.. .I don't like high rise for trousers, so I chose these pants because they are listed as mid rise. The problem is that they come up too high, and taper in at the waist so that the circumference around the waist is actually smaller than it should be, and feels extremely restrictive around my midsection. It's to the point where by the end of the day I am so uncomfortable, I can't wait to take the pants off. I took a photo to compare these (left) against a pair of Old Navy mid rise pop icon skinny jeans (right). You can see there's at least 1-2" of rise difference. The jeans are significantly more comfortable and what I'd expect for mid rise. Please make these in a true mid rise, the material is so nice and these would be such a perfect pants for work.

If you look at the size chart for these pants (which are ankle length) then look at the size chart for pants that are full length and modeled as grazing the ground, they are exactly the same. How can ankle pants and full length pants have the same inseam? (Because Gap is lazy.) Sizing is all over the place, and it's beyond frustrating because stores do not carry stock and sizes constantly sell out online. Do better, Gap. (I'm 5'2" 120lbs and 4 petite is inexplicably too small.)
