I think I like these, just can't tell how good they will look after a couple wears

After a single wear the seam in the butt opened and had to be mended. After 3 wears, tiny holes have started to appear in the fabric. And like other reviewers have noted, there are small fibres sticking out of the fabric. This is a defective item that should be removed from the shelves. Do better Gap.

I had gotten these in the jungle green and was happy with them. They were comfortable, if not a little itchy, so I ordered another pair in black. While I was wearing the black pair the first time, before they had even been laundered, they had little light colored threads sticking out of all of the seams, including at the front crotch around the zipper, so it looked like tufts of hair coming through the crotch of the pant. And I was at a work event. I was mortified to think people would think that was my hair coming through! I haven't been able to wear them again, and I'm not even sure if I can salvage them. I'm going to try a pill shaver to cut away all of the threads, but they are coming through all of the seams, and even across the material itself. I can't imagine what these threads are even from. Spandex?? They don't feel stretchy, so I don't think so. And the threads are not soft, they're prickly, so they make the pants feel itchy. Not a good deal, even on sale or clearance. Really disappointed.

I love these pants. Unfortunately, the fabric is fraying at the seams. The pants are loose, flowy, and sooo comfortable, yet still professional. I've only worn them a few times before I noticed that the vertical seams on the outside of my pant legs were getting hairy!? So sad the fabric/make of the pant is lacking.

While these are comfortable, they run about a size smaller than I wear at Gap, and after just a few hours of wear, there are what look like hairs sticking out of the entire outside thigh (not an area that rubs on anything, so it's a quality issue). I would NEVER buy these again. Avoid at all costs.

Please bring these back. They are amazing.

Cool pants (comfortable and modern fit) but the fabric was a bit sportier than I was looking for. But great choice for more casual-wear. #sweepstakes

Although the fit and style are great, the fabric started to fray around the seams after a couple wears. It looks so bad and trashy that they're not wearable.

Making a note to myself that I don't like Tencel. The cream color was fine, but the blue is very washed out, and it almost looks dirty. I'll stick to cotton and linen.
