I almost bought a second pair after trying these on. I am a 30 in regular gap jeans and a regular inseam. Bought these in a regular and long to try on (160lbs, 5ft 7.5in). The regular fell short of my expectations - waist felt too low and i just didn't like the length. I felt they were too short ...because I like my jeans to touch my ankles. The long did that for me and because it had a longer inseam, fit better with more coverage when I bend over. The fabric is also VERY soft. Haven't washed yet so cant comment on shrinkage but they just fit so well and feel so good against my skin. The inset panel is perfect and I can see this working hard way after pregnancy.
I ordered these jeans in a 29S. I am 5 ft tall and wore an 8 or 10 pre-pregnancy. I was so excited to see maternity jeans in short sizes so I ordered these in 2 different washes. The dark wash fit different from the medium wash in the calf area. The dark wash was way too big below the knee. They def...initely were not what I would call skinny, they fit more like straight jeans. The light wash weren't as wide in the calf so I will be keeping them and returning the dark wash. Very weird how differently they fit. I love the inset panels and fit in the rest of the jean though. Of course I am still too short for short lengths so I do have to cuff these.

Reviewed at
gapcanada.ca/A little short but soft and good stretch - almost got into these - worried too much material in the bum area.

These jeans sag so badly that I'm constantly pulling them up, which is annoying and uncomfortable. I ordered my regular size, I'm 6 months pregnant, and I have them cinched as tight as they can go, but they still sag down the minute I walk more than a few steps. Really regret buying them.

I'm in early pregnancy but the bloat required me to start shopping maternity. I was skeptical about purchasing these since the reviews said it leaves a gap in the back for your tools (ha); however, these had the adjustable waist like in kids jeans - once that was cinched up, they were perfect. I do think they run a little large, so I would suggest going a size down as they do get loose with wear. Overall I love them and am about to drop another pair into my cart.

These looked great when I first put them on and was standing. But then I sat down. They gave me a quarter slot in back. Got better throughout the day, but I was still frequently pulling them up. For reference, I'm 18 weeks and a 27.

Not true to size. I ordered based on my size in GAP jeans when I am not pregnant and these were tight. Also, if I bend over they show the top of my underwear.

I bought these jeans after struggling with two pairs of (non-Gap) full belly-band jeans that wouldn't stay up. These were a breath of fresh air, and pretty much all I've worn since they arrived. First of all, the jean material itself was thicker than expected - about as heavy as regular Gap jeans, which I realized in hindsight that my other pairs weren't. They do stretch out a little with wear, but not to the point of getting baggy or looking bad. The fit is great and true to my pre-pregnancy size (10). The band is definitely a little tight around my belly (I'm at 24 weeks), but it's not too uncomfortable (we'll have to see how we do as I progress in the coming few months), and the jeans just STAY UP better than my old ones. Yes, they sag a bit over the course of the day, but what else can you expect when your waist is bigger around than your hips and thighs? They have real, functional POCKETS in the front, which are also much appreciated (would be even better if they were bigger pockets, Gap!). And lastly, they came in a good length (long) for my height (5'11") - so they're not too short, even after washing and drying. It is extremely unusual for me to write a review for anything online, but I was just so pleased with all of the features these had that I needed to say something. Thanks, Gap!

After abdominal surgeries, wearing "normal" jeans was very uncomfortable and I'd have to unbutton the top after a short time. These jeans solve that problem. They're very comfortable all day. They do slip a bit at the back, but it's great to wear "normal" clothes---no one knows what's at my waistband.

I like my jeans with a lot of stretch and these are ok but could use more.I'm 5'2, 135 pounds, 4.5 months pregnant, pre-pregnancy size was 28. I went with 29 long because I wanted them comfortable and like to keep my ankles covered in the cold. It was a good fit overall and length was perfect. I think they are a little low in the back though.
