Difficult to trust Gap reviews on ANYTHING

I wanted the yellow and pink color in my normal size large and then tall for length because I loathe anything that hits at my waist or above. Those were both sold out so I opted for xl talk in the grey and yellow. Reviews stated that the shirts were so tight that sizing up was pretty much necessary ...

Ridiculous cut and sizing

I'm 5'5" and 125 lbs. I typically wear a Small top, though sometimes an XS. Based on others' reviews, I ordered a Medium and a Large. Well, the Med was so tight! I'm keeping the Large. The neckline isn't nice though — it's stands up a bit and is very casual. I wish they'd bring back the Feather Tees...

Abnormal shoulder seam placing

I don't want to say these are bad, but as many have commented, they feel like they run small. I ordered them in my normal size (S) and they were too small in the shoulder, so I sized up (M) and they were still too small. I think more than a sizing issue it is the placement of the shoulder seam. It's not long enough so it ends up kind of puckering up at the top of the shoulder instead of where the shoulder starts to curve down. For reference, I am 5'3 so my frame should be small, if anything.

Another great score for my wife at The Gap! The fabric is delightful; soft with the tiniest bit of stretch to make for a perfect fit. As always, The Gap has the best selection of colors for whatever season and the olive green top is a winner all year round. To be able to get the top on sale is the icing on the cake.
